Stewarding

Have been to green man 6 times, however my son is getting older and i think i may be going alone this year and was thinking of stewarding. Anyone done this?

I haven't but it always seems like a nice thing to do, and I have often politiely enquired / interrogated the odd nice young person looking bored on a gate. I think they do 4 hours a day, and can be posted anywhere. If there is something they particualr wnat to see they can usually wangle it. You could end up being posted in a good / interesting spot or somewhere boring. I think there is probably a slight advantage to doing it as a respectable adult.

Hi Ann, Yes, I've stewarded at GM and will do again this year. It's a great option if you like free tickets/food, orange hi-vis jackets and shorter queues for the showers. This is in return for three, 6-hour shifts. Maybe see you there? Gareth
