thank you Walter for putting on such a memorable Green Man 2017 and look forward to you surprising us with announcements for 2018 over the coming months.

to everyone else, have a great Christmas and if you did not have an early bird ticket already, then Santa has left you one in your stocking.

Hello, folks! Hope you all had a Yappy Holiday. Can't wait for our first line-up annoucement and next ticket release which is one 25th January - let's make it another magical one!

There may not be so many this year as, unless you're a drug pushing spammer, it appears to be impossible to register on the forum.

I know a number of folk who've tried numerous times without success.

It’s taken me 5 months, 3 email addresses, and a lot of tears, but I finally got accepted onto the Green Man Forum! Already have an EarlyBird ticket and cant wait to hear the first lineup announcement.

Welcome to the club! I'll have a sniff around and see what I can do...

It's alright ray_rad, they've been subject to an extensive vetting process.

Badgerwhoo was served with an exclusion order when a domestic search revealed the presence of Future Islands material in their record collection, but successfully appealed on the basis that existing forum members are similarly deluded.

Hmm, both The National and Tindersticks would be great. But I’m really hoping Anais Mitchell might play this year, Ed Dowie & Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile too. I’d love Nick Cave to headline he’s totally at he top of his game at the moment. I’d like to see Sufjan Stevens before I die (and kidnap him and keep him in the cellar) so he’d be good too. In fact my headliners would be Fri-The National, Sat-Nick Cave & Sun Sufjan. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

I would too. Don't worry about Ray. He's harmless really, so long as you don't mention Future Islands, and lightning doesn't strike twice. I'm convinced they only booked them last year to antagonise Ray.

Yes he sounds like Vic Reeves doing the club singer, but they write such beautiful melodies that it’s easy to forgive

Just listening to Colter Wall and feeling po'd that I'm too late to get a ticket for his Bush Hall gig.  A Walled Garden appearance would make up for it.

I know a lot of these are unreachable but a boy can dream! :)

Beck, Eels, Public Service Broadcasting, HMLTD, Sun Kil Moon (the return), Modest Mouse, Brix & The Exticated, Preoccupations, Ubre Blanca, Wolfgang Flür, Barry Hyde, The Skids, This Heat, Accu, Sewage Farm, Radar Men from the Moon, The Pop Group, Sleeper, Johnny Borrell, Slowdive (again) and many more I can't think of at the moment...

Ego aside, he has made some cool and interesting music with Zazou over the past few years. I guess he's just ruined it for himself then really? Haha.

One of my choices for this years headliners The EELS have just announced a new album and a  UK May tour, to return in August possibly.

saw them last year

still great

fuck me, william's eaten all the pies though

but what's the connection?

are you just naming bands identifiable by their initials?
