A fair few of us will be heading to GM on Monday and usually some of us who are settling or staying off site meet up during the week for an afternoon pint or two.
The normal pub we do this is The Bridge End but it seems that it will still be closed over Green Man week so I'm thinking maybe The Britannia on Tuesday at around 2pm? It has a big beer garden out the back and is on The High Street (although everywhere in Crickhowell is easy to find!).
Everyone is welcome to come along and if people prefer to meet in another pub then that's fine with me too, feel free to suggest alternatives.
Hope to see you there.

I'm not there until Wednesday
I'm not there until Wednesday afternoon but I'm tempted to buy a carton of cider from an ex-colleague who has a stall outside Market Hall selling his Brecon Beacons Cider and retire to the Bridge End Inn beer garden with my Green Man reusable cup, if there's still access.

No access to the Bridge End
No access to the Bridge End garden and could not get in the Bear or Dragon last night as they were only taking people eating and Treebeard bar is closed Monday and Tuesday so you probably made the right choice Decemberboy.

The landlady of the Bridge
The landlady of the Bridge End has died, and Howard the landlord has decided not to continue running the pub but hand it over to new owners. The pub has always been part of our GM experience and will be sad Elaine and Howard will not be there next year.

Saw this too and sad to hear
Saw this too and sad to hear this news. I'd heard that Elaine hadn't been in good health for some time. Always enjoyed sitting in the beer garden at The Bridge End Inn on the Wednesday and soaking up the feeling that I'd arrived for the weekend. Condolexcess to Howard.
