Adam Walton: BBC Wales

Those of you, like me, who tend to spend a lot of the time at Green Man in the Walled Garden will be familiar with Adam who DJs there for most of the weekend.

You may not be aware that Adam also hosts a brilliant Welsh music programme on BBC Radio Wales from 10-1 on a Saturday night.

I've been listening every week since I heard a special show he did last year when it was announced that Green Man was cancelled. I've been listening every Saturday since. He's switched me on to so much excellent new music coming out of Wales - Carwyn Ellis, Afro Cluster, Sisters Wives, Swansea Sounds and loads more. And who knew there was such a glorious thing as Welsh dub?

Adam tweets details of all of the tracks during the programe and encourages plenty of interaction. It's become a highlight of my week.

Have you looked at Focus Wales in Wrexham in October.Lots of Welsh acts, over 300 performances and incredible value for £45.Maybe not suitable for children though.

Yes, I think it's usually on in May but they shifted it back for obvious reasons. Fingers crossed but I'm not sure it's likely. It's a multi-venue kind of thing isn't it? I really fancy it.

I'm not sure all the international acts will perform but i'm hoping a more uk based line up will still be possible.
