Newby to Green Man. Can people describe the food potential to me in great detail (this is important). Will be bringing coffee and bacon as essential. Whatculinadeli thighs can we expect?

The food there is excellent,
The food there is excellent, a brilliant choice from morning till night
I second Lennie's emotion.

My particular favourites are the Goan Fish Curry stall who also do excellent kedgeree breakfasts, the paella place at the top of the main stage hill and the fruit salad place in the walled garden. There's a very good fish and chip stall and my kids love the pasta/pizza place at the main stage. I'm assuming they'll all be back again this year. There are lots of other places; Pie Minister, a Mexican food place, ...

The pies are excellent, but
The pies are excellent, but bring back Moo & Blue!
I look forward to the food as much as anythin else and tend to have about 5 meals per day out of utter gluttony and greed. Fryella for breakfast, falfels for a mid morning snack, curry for lunch, mexican mmid afternoon and a pie later on. I don't stick rigidly to this routine, it's just an example.
There are a few new stalls this year too, so I may leave about a stone heavier than I arrive!

I'll third that. As well as
I'll third that. As well as the difficulty of figuring out what to go see through clashfinder, there's the dilemma of covering all bases from the fantastic selection of food stalls too, and not just going repeatedly for the Goan fish curry! Those pizzas are surprisingly good too to be fair. Proper wood burning stoves and all. Let's not forget there's a fine array of real ales and ciders to wash it all down with too, especially at the central courtyard bar
It would not be wrong to
It would not be wrong to describe Green Man as a food festival with lots of other interesting things going on ...
... so you will not be disappointed.
