Was Patti the best so far? ........

I've only been to the last four festivals - but yes I think she was! The booking was inspirational. Could you think of anyone with more artistry, legacy, literal power and, dare I say it style! The saying "I was there" could not have been more apt. Those of us who were in the Far Out Tent that Thursday evening have I'm sure been running things through their head ever since. There have been many great performances over the year, The Low Anthem two years ago for instance, The Tallest Man on Earth last year. But this was soaring above them all and never could the phrase "Because The Night" have been so suitable.
