Andrew Bird: Fever Year documentary

Calling all Andrew Bird fans & like-minded souls.

If you're based in London, within easy reach or willing to travel, you might be interested to learn that we have 2 exclusive screenings of the award-winning Andrew Bird: Fever Year documentary coming up later this month. The film has only ever been shown at film festivals (only once before in the UK) and is not available on DVD, so this could well be your once-in-a-lifetime chance to catch it.

It was made during the final months of Andrew Bird's gruelling 2009 tour for his album Noble Beast - a tour which included the hallowed stages of Green Man Festival and Union Chapel, London. Featuring powerful live performances, interviews and backstage footage, Fever Year is an intimate portrait of this dauntingly-talented performer.

Icing on the cake: the director Xan Aranda will be on hand after both screenings for a Q&A (via the wonders of Skype).

Screenings will take place on 23 Nov at 7.15pm and 24 Nov at 9.00pm.

Please come along, and if you can't, spread the word. Head to www.aubincinema.com for details, or find us on Facebook (The Aubin Cinema).
